Attention 6th grade families!

We are so excited to begin our House System at Culbreth this year! Our system has been helping students have a sense of belonging, as they are sorted into and get to know the members in their house. They are enjoying the healthy competition, as they work together to win our House Challenges. They are also developing their character, as they learn to be team players and to be supportive of others. Our students are incredibly motivated to do the right thing in order to earn stamps that convert to House Points! 

All has been going well with one exception: We have been struggling to provide students with an appropriate visible indicator of their House alliances in the form of House Swag. Teams were challenged with earning 4000 collective points in order to receive a t-shirt in the color of their House and emblazoned with their House Crest (pictured below). We are so proud that all of the Houses are fast approaching this goal. However, with a greater number of students enrolled in 6th grade this year, our funds for purchasing these shirts are limited. We need your help! If you are willing to donate any amount to our cause, we’d be so very grateful. All cash or checks (made out to Culbreth Middle School) can be turned in to your student’s advisory teacher.
